Situated centrally about 80Km south of the Mozambique border, a central point to explore this diverse strip of land from. It is surrounded by game parks like the Umfolozi Hululuwe big 5 game reserve (100km south), Thembe Elephant park (60km north), Phinda private game reserve (40km) and others. The Guest house is 4km from the beach but the entrance is through a gate into the Isimangaliso wetland park (about 7km), a World Heritage site that extends from Lake St Lucia to Khosi Bay and hopefully will soon also include a large stretch of the Mozambiquecan coastline. Please be aware of the fact that during our peak seasons only 200 vehicles are allowed on the beach per day, one of the last places where this small privelege can be enjoyed.
Entrance into the wetland park takes you to Jesser Point or better known as Sodwana Bay. With a community of passionate divers and fishermen it has a typical small coastal town feel and boasts of some of the worlds finest coral reefs, exhilarating diving and offshore fishing.
