Humpback Surf School and Tours

Where the waves have no names!

Surf Lodge

•Our surf lodge sleeps 6, and is a great base to tour from, and relax after a long day in the sun. Our 7 meter boat can handle 6 surfers with ease. Going surfing by boat here gives you the feeling of being in another country on a adventure of a lifetime. We also fish in between surfs for the night`s fish braai (BBQ). If you choose to go on our tour to the border we will camp and sleep in huts along the way. Adventure !

Learning to Surf.

Picture2•If there is one place left on earth, where you can still find empty, clean waves, and warm water, it`s right here in Sodwana Bay. Sodwana is known for it`s amazing coral reefs and abundant sea life, witch makes it one of the best scuba diving destinations in the world. With no major rivers in the area the water is always crystal clear and warm. Having said that, it still is a gem, and a secret surf destination, since it`s only known for scuba!

•The bay itself can produce great beach breaks, protected by a sand bar (bank). Any level of surfer can have some good fun here. This (outside) sand bar can wall up and barrel for long memorable rides. The shore breaks are perfect for learning to surf, and our lessons are all about having fun and getting you stoked and hooked on this life changing experience. All equipment provided including your hands on, in water instructor. Safe professional fun in the sun.

•For the experienced surfer, this place can surprise anyone! Being exposed to the raw Indian Ocean swells, and being close to the deep continental  shelf, a healthy respect is needed. Searching and touring can be very rewarding! We have found at least a hand full of quality breaks between us and the Mozambique border.

•Going on a surf safari in a “ WORLD HERITAGE PARK” is something that anyone should do at least once.  We are having so much fun going on these safari`s, we would like to share them with you. True stoke and discovery!  As the saying goes ‘ it`s closer than you think’ is so true!

•From Sodwana Bay to the Mozambique border thru the park on surf safari is a dream! Then came the three meter swell and we now have the point of gold glooming and turning perfection. When Ponta fires up it can be world class all the way from second point to the motel 600m away! If you still feel like you need some more adventure we can travel north thru yet another park. Points can be found all the way to Santa Maria where you can look across to Inhaca island.
